Artificial Intelligence seminar was held on April 11, 2018, organized by my LiVE Group. Three reputative professors are invited as Keynote speakers, including Prof Yi Yang from University of Technology Sydney, Prof Deyu Meng from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Prof Chenqiang Gao from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications

I was invited to give a talk in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications on Mar 30, 2018 by Prof Jiangtao Luo and Prof Chenqiang Gao.

CCF-CV series seminar was held on Mar 28, 2018, organized by my LiVE Group as the Executive Chair. Five reputative professors from China are invited as Keynote speakers, including Prof C.L. Philip Chen (University of Macau), Prof Liang Wang (Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Prof Ce Zhu (University of Electronic Science and Technology of China), Prof Rongrong Ji (Xiamen University), and Prof Wangmeng Zuo (Harbin Institute of Technology).

My Ph.D student Shanshan Wang attended the IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV2017), a top confernece, from Oct 22 to Oct 30, 2017 in Venice, Italy. We have made two presentations in the top conference.

My Ph.D student Qingyan Duan attended the Chinese Conference on Biometric Recognition (CCBR2017) from Oct 27 to Oct 29, 2017 in Shenzhen, China. She has made a poster presentation, and granted the "Best Paper Award" in the conference.

My master student Ji Liu attended the Chinese Conference on Computer Vision (CCCV) from Oct 11 to Oct 14, 2017 in Tianjin, China. Dr Lei Zhang is elected as the CCF Computer Vision Professional Committee (中国计算机视觉专委委员).

Dr Lei Zhang, Shanshan Wang, Tan Guo and Tao Liu have attended the ELM2017 from Oct 4-7, 2017 in Yantai, Shandong. Dr Zhang has given a Keynote Speech "Advanced Transfer Learning in Intelligent Vision and Olfaction" for the conference.

Dr Lei Zhang is elected as the Smart Service Professional Committee of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and attended China Intelligent Technology and Big Data (CITBD) on Sep 15-17, 2017 in Guangzhou

Prof Cheng Junting from Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology visited our group on Jul 27, 2017 and bring us a report on "3D Print and Advanced Manufacture Technology"
